PGDM: This programme is meant for those who want to shape their career in management and excel in it. It follows a six trimesters, including compulsory summer internship training after completion of the first year. In the second year the students opt for 12 electives (6 in term IV, 4 in term V and 2 in term VI) in addition to the compulsory core courses. Summer internship (minimum 8 weeks duration) and dissertation is equivalent to 6 credits. This enables the students to pursue in depth learning in the area of their specialization. The electives cover a minimum two functional areas of specialization which equip the students with multiple functional skills.
PGDM – Marketing: PGDM (Marketing) programme aims to create industry ready professionals out of young minds to address the ever growing gap between the demand and supply of quality marketing professionals. Marketing and business development are perhaps the only revenue grosser for most firms, thus sparking of the initiation of such courses among B-schools, separate from run-of-the-mill general management courses. With the world becoming a global village the concept of marketing is also undergoing rapid change.
PGDM – Retail: PGDM (Retail) aims at increasing employability of students with the most modern techniques and practices in Retailing, as seen and experienced around the world. It equips student with fundamental management skills and in-depth knowledge of Retail.
The curriculum will include 1200 hrs of class room training and 1888 hrs of in on job training which will be completed in 24 months.
- 800 hrs of classroom which would be completed in the first year
- The remaining 400 hrs of classroom will be completed in the IInd year
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree of 3 year duration or equivalent with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university of India.
- Those candidates who are appearing for their final graduation or equivalent examinations up to 30th June, 2013 are also eligible to apply subject to furnishing of documentary evidence before 30th September, 2013.
