Infrastructure
The aesthetically designed NIMS, Noida Campus es a stimulating atmosphere, conducive to all round development of a participant. NIMS campus in Noida, just 5 minutes from Fortis Hospital, Noida Sector-62. The campus is equipped with class rooms with projector and a 200 seater auditorium giving students a completely international feel. The picturesque campus is beautifully landscaped and has an unique blend of old english architecture with modern exteriors. It provides facilities billiards, pool, Table Tennis etc.
The Institute has elegant building which includes specious and well equipped Hi-tech computer lab, Library, Faculty Rooms, Conference and Seminar Rooms and Administrative areas.
The NIMS Building encompasses spacious administrative wing for most efficient working of the Institute. The institute has well planned offices for Principal and as well as faculty chambers which are centrally located to manage effectively teaching learning activities.
The cafeterias at NIMS give students that ideal environment for endless discussions and debates.
Hostel
The hostel is located near of the institute. The Student’s residential blocks ensure that the student have world class facility from the spacious double rooms provided with internet connectivity to recreational and reading rooms. Hostel Facility is Available to desirous student, separately for boys and girls, on sharing accommodation with hygienic, nutritious and homely food.
In the hostel, we provide the required furniture that includes a Bed, Mattress, Study Table, Chair and an Almirah. All the rooms are clean, airy and well-lit. A common room is there where the students can watch TV and Play Indoor Games likeTable Tennis, Carom Chess. The food is wholesome and nourishing containing Milk, Green Vegetables, Sprouts, Seasonal Fruits etc.
These facilities are strictly available on first come first serve basis. A refundable Security Fee of Rs.5000/- is to be deposited while taking admission in the hostel. Time constraints are there for boys hostel, which students have to follow. No student is allowed to leave the hostel without prior permission. Students are required to strictly adhere to all the norms and regulations of the hostel.
Cafeteria
A meeting place where students from all walks of life interact with each other. The cafeteria is a must in itself. The institute has a cafeteria which is open through the day for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Due to the highly heterogeneous profile of student, an attempt is being made to provide variety to cater to different sections of student on affordable price.
NIMS Institute has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. Canteen can conveniently accommodate a 100 students at a time, functioning in the campus. The canteen is provided with modern furniture and electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. The Institute has a Canteen inside the campus in which variety of dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days.
The most attractive feature of the institute is institute restaurant. It is a place where students unwind and relax with friends to enjoy good quality, delicious and healthy food at nominal rates. It is definitely a treat for all students. The institute canteen is a place where students congregate to not only eat but exchange views.
Classroom
Classrooms are one of the main platforms where effective learning takes place. We have taken all the possible care while designing our world class classrooms so that our students get effective learning from our teachers and facilitate participative learning.
Our classrooms are well ventilated spacious, equipped with overhead and LCD projectors along with public address system with proper arrangements of Laptop power supply. The furniture used in classrooms is of un-compromised international quality to enable students for 8 hours of comfortable and continues learning.
Good classroom management is critical to creating a good learning environment. This room provides an executive training environment for business leaders and an opportunity for interaction with our students during their visits. This area of the building supports catering and spaces for relaxed conversation between sessions. In addition to the specialized equipment this classroom also has instructional technology support that includes.
NIMS has well designed classrooms; seminar and syndicate room developed as learning halls to create professional atmosphere. The classrooms are airconditioned, carpeted with LCD projectors .The training halls are also equipped with audio-visual aid and support facilities for professional presentations.
Hi-Tech Computer Lab
NIMS, Hi-Tech Information Technology Center recognizing the need for easy accessibility to latest relevant data and information for preparing presentations, projects and other assignments by the management students as a necessary part of their curriculum.
The IT center has been designed to provide the students with latest facilities available in the industry. The IT center has integrated network connectivity and the infrastructure consists of over 120 computers with Pentium IV configuration networks powered by high end servers.
The system are supported by laser printers, scanners and cd writers, the center is equipped with variety of popular software such as windows, MS-office, front page 2007, ms project 2000, oracle8i, coral12 etc. The students also have access to internet facility at 512 kbps for 24 hours a day, which integrates NIMS to the rest of the world. The Noida Institute of Management Studies campus is also Wi-Fi enabled. The institute provides all these facilities just to make each and every student highly techno savvy.
Internet is the biggest source of information, a link to the world to know what is going on around us. We provide extensive global exposure to our students through hi-speed Broadband uplink. Our students use Internet for exchanging ideas and for updating themselves of the current needs. It also helps them in their project work and also in their assignments.
Library
Management Studies library has the unique distinction of having 3000 reference books and over 5000 text books covering all possible aspects of interest for management students. The library always works forward to bring in new concepts, literature and journals by collaborating with worlds premier institutes and publishers. Our library bridges the gap between the theory and real life situation.
The collection includes Indian and International books, magazines and periodicals, audio video material, electronic database, with subscription to 200 national and international magazines and periodicals. The student are issued book under home reading scheme which they can keep for a week. In addition, a free reading room is open for students from 10 am to 6 pm. It quite and serene setting makes it an ideal place for concentrated studies .
Library has a comprehensive collection of books, journals, magazines etc. We have books by Indian as well as foreign authors in areas like Management, IT and Journalism. It includes all disciplines of management like HR, Marketing, General Management Information System Management, Economics, Finance etc.
After processing data one gets information which on further processing gives us knowledge. Library is the major source of this data, also a major source of knowledge. NIMS has an fully sound proof Library which is extremely rich in resources for learning, research and general awareness. It is spacious and comfortable, therefore, enabling the students to spend long hours easily in it.
Sports
Sport is an integral part of life at NIMS, whether as part of the institute curriculum or its extensive co-curricular programme. Students develop a willingness to improve and to perform to the best of their ability in an enjoyable atmosphere. This inevitably leads to students growing in confidence and they often pursue their chosen sports during co-curricular time, representing the institute in the many teams. The sporting aim of NIMS is to provide an opportunity for breadth of experience in an environment in which all boys have an opportunity to reach their potential whilst striving for excellence.
Participation in team sports, healthy competition and skills development are essential elements in the development of well-balanced young people.It also has a large space, fully equipped with equipments and resistance training equipment, as well as the adjoining indoor Aquatic Centre.
